We are looking for a natural born design leader with an elevated aesthetic who can drive creative through a user-centered lens that’s sharply focused on education, wellness, and CBD. We are a lean team, so someone who can conceptualize a billboard, execute design for a pitch deck, and design a newsletter, all while displaying the highest level of motivation, tenacity, and organization is the collaborative team player we are seeking.
This is an opportunity to work with a fast-growing startup in NYC and influence the creative vision within CBD and the larger wellness space.
Design & Production
Plan, lead, and execute creative vision and aesthetic for brand materials
Work across a variety of media including print, digital, social, etc.
Design sales collateral, retail displays, and web art components as needed
Understand brand aesthetic and ethos and ensure assets adhere to style guidelines
Manage occasional freelancers to effectively meet workload and maintain standards
Contribute to creative vision for product and lifestyle photography
Create accurate production files based on approved style guides and/or front-end development requests
Mastery of visual content creation including planning and directing the digital workflow
Broad range of design skills to work across digital, web and social media
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
Ability to think and execute quickly while maintaining attention to detail and incorporating feedback
Strong organizational skills and ability to delegate tasks
Passion for design and creative problem solving
Motivation, decisiveness, efficiency, and dedication are musts
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
3+ years of brand/advertising design experience
Stellar online portfolio/samples of work
Advanced proficiency with all aspects of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Keynote
Understanding of branding, typography, retail design, and package development
